Find Kiki.
Open the rift.
Kiki the Demented Jester appears in a randomly selected chamber inside the Abyssal Crypts. Defeat him to open a Nightmare Rift where he falls.
The rift lasts 10 minutes. Kiki returns after a random 5–10 minutes, so his next location may be different.

Four tiers of Crypt equipment
Gatekeeper level determines the reward tier. Each tier has 29 possible pieces across armour, weapons and accessories.
A successful rare-gear roll awards one shared item. Characters no more than 10 levels above a gatekeeper can farm repeatedly. Above that limit, one attempt is available per boss and difficulty every 24 hours—even if no item drops.
Crafting materials, food, drinks, Soulites and eligible protection scrolls have separate reward rolls.
If you die: the configured respawn returns you to the Abyssal entrance, including deaths in Nightmare.
